Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Baran Labs LLC, a company registered in Florida ("we" or "us"). We run Vresk: the website at vresk.ai and the app you use there.

By using Vresk, as a guest or with an account, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use Vresk.

This is version 1 of these terms, in effect from 2026-10-02.

If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights or what you pay, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect: by email if you have an account, and on our changelog. Other changes, such as clearer wording, take effect when we publish them.

If you keep using Vresk after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you. If you don't want them, you can stop using Vresk and delete your account.

You must be 18 or older to use Vresk.

Before your first conversation, Vresk asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older. By confirming, you are telling us that it is true.

Vresk is offered to people in the United States and Canada.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data.

Vresk is a workspace for open-weight AI models made by other companies. The models run on servers operated by companies we pay to host them, and our privacy policy names them. Every finished reply is labeled with the model that wrote it.

AI models make mistakes. An answer can be wrong, incomplete or out of date even when it sounds certain. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Vresk does not give professional advice. Nothing it says is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, or a substitute for it.

Every message you send and every answer goes through an automatic safety check. You can't switch it off, and it may stop a message or an answer.

We may add, change or remove models and features. The companies that make and host models change what they offer, and Vresk changes with them.

We work to keep Vresk available, but at times it may be down or unable to finish a request, and we don't promise that it always will be.

You can use Vresk as a guest, without signing up. These terms apply to guests too.

If you create an account, use an email address you control and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us at support@vresk.ai.

An account is for one person.

You can delete your account at any time from Your data. If you pay for Plus and it is still set to renew, cancel it first.

Vresk has a free plan and one paid plan, Plus, which costs $20 a month.

Every plan includes an allowance of use that resets on a schedule, and guests have a smaller daily allowance. Your limits shows how much you have used and when it resets. When you reach an allowance, Vresk tells you, and you can carry on when it resets.

We may change allowances. If we reduce one, we announce it on our changelog before the reduction takes effect.

Paying for Plus changes how much you can use. It does not change how we handle your data or the safety checks.

We sometimes give someone Plus for a limited time at no charge, called a guest pass. A guest pass is not a purchase. It ends on the date your account shows, and we may end it early.

• Plus is $20 a month and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from your account page. You keep Plus until the end of the month you paid for.
• We don't refund payments or part of a month, except where the law requires it or if we end the service ourselves — then we refund the unused part.
• Plus isn't available in Quebec yet. If you subscribe with a Quebec billing address, we cancel and refund the payment automatically.
• Plus is sold to billing addresses in the United States and Canada. If you subscribe with a billing address anywhere else, we cancel and refund the payment automatically.
• If the price changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

To buy Plus, you must be old enough to make a binding contract where you live.

Payments are handled by Stripe, and prices are in US dollars.

To cancel, use Manage billing on your plan page. If you can't get to it, email support@vresk.ai and we'll cancel for you.

To ask for a refund, email support@vresk.ai from the address on your account.

If a payment fails and can't be collected, we may end your subscription, and your account returns to the free plan.

Don't use Vresk to break the law or to harm anyone. In particular, don't:

• create, ask for or share sexual content involving anyone under 18. We make any report the law requires. If we are ever legally required to preserve specific material, we will keep only that material for as long as the law requires.
• try to get around the safety checks, the allowances or the 18+ confirmation.
• create more than one account to get more use, share an account, or resell access to Vresk.
• use scripts, bots or scrapers to use Vresk, except through features we provide for that.
• attack, probe or overload our systems, or get in the way of other people's use.
• harass, threaten, deceive or defraud people, pretend to be someone else, or infringe anyone's rights, including their privacy and intellectual property.
• make malicious software, or seek help making weapons that can cause mass harm.

If you are a student, follow your school's rules about AI. We don't monitor or report how you use Vresk for schoolwork.

When you connect another service to Vresk, you are responsible for following that service's terms too.

If you break these rules, we may warn you, limit what you can do, or suspend or close your account, depending on how serious it is.

Between you and us, what you put into Vresk (your messages, files and notes) and what Vresk makes for you belong to you.

You give us permission to store, process and send your content only as needed to run Vresk for you: to get answers from the models, to show your work back to you, to keep Vresk safe, and to follow the law. The permission ends when you delete the content, except for the copies our privacy policy says we keep.

We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.

Answers are not unique, and someone else may get a similar one. You are responsible for your content, and for having the right to use anything you upload.

If you share a conversation by link, anyone who has the link can see what you shared.

Vresk's software, design and name belong to us or to the people we license them from. These terms let you use Vresk as they describe and give you no other rights in it.

The models are made by other companies and are used under their own licenses.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

Vresk is provided as it is and as it is available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond what these terms say, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived by agreement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims relating to Vresk is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $20 if you paid us nothing.

You can stop using Vresk and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires us to, or if we stop offering Vresk. Unless we need to act at once, to prevent harm or to comply with the law, we will tell you first.

If we stop offering Vresk, we will tell you in advance, give you time to export your data, and refund the unused part of any month you have paid for.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes about them or about Vresk go to the state and federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them in your local courts.

Before you go to court, please write to us at support@vresk.ai so we can try to fix the problem.

These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Vresk.

If a court finds part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.

We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Vresk; if we do, we'll tell you. You may not transfer them without our agreement.
