Your account

Vresk is built so an account is never the price of trying it, and never the price of keeping what you made. This page covers the whole surface: guest sessions, creating an account without losing anything, the ways to sign in, and the one-time 18+ confirmation.

Guest sessions

A guest session is a full workspace without an account. Everything you make in it is yours — but it lives only in that browser’s session. Creating an account is how you keep it and sign in anywhere.

When guest access is on

Whether Vresk accepts new guest sessions at any given moment is a setting on our side, and it can change at any time. When guest access is on, you can start working with no account at all. When a guest session can’t be started, the page says so plainly — and tells you whether retrying can help or whether the switch is simply off.

Creating an account keeps everything

You need an email address and a password of at least 8 characters. From a guest session, use the account page’s form or Create account on the sign-in page — either one upgrades your guest session in place. In the product’s own words: “Your conversations and memory stay exactly as they are.”

Until you open the confirmation link we email you, your account sits in a pending state — you can keep working the whole time, and everything you make stays put either way. Typo in the address? Enter it again — the newest confirmation link wins. If nothing arrives, the address may already have an account: switch to signing in instead.

Signing in is not the same as creating

From a guest session, Sign in switches you to the existing account you signed in to. Your guest work stays with the browser session — it does not merge into that account. To keep guest work, use Create account.

Ways to sign in

Email and password always work. Beyond that:

  • Forgot your password? Enter your email on the sign-in page and tap the link under the password field. If that address has an account, a reset link is emailed to it; opening the link signs you in just long enough to choose a new password.
  • You may also see “Email me a sign-in link” and “Continue with Google”. These are offered only when they are switched on for the deployment you are using — their absence is not a fault.

Emailed links can die: one that has expired or already been used lands you back at the sign-in page, which says exactly that — “That link didn’t work — it may have expired or already been used. If you already confirmed your email, sign in. If not, ask for a new link from the browser you signed up in.” A password-reset link that died says so and points you back to “Forgot your password?”. No detail is leaked about whose link it was.

The 18+ confirmation

Vresk is for adults. The first time you use chat, a bar sits above the message box asking you to confirm you’re 18 or older (on a phone, the question appears the first time you send, attach or dictate), and anything you send waits until you confirm with I’m 18 or older. One tap, once — the question does not come back.

It is a statement, not a key

This is self-attestation, not verification — and confirming does not loosen anything. The safety limits on what models will produce are unconditional and stay exactly the same after you tap it.

Changing your email, and the rest

No change-email control yet

There is currently no way to change your account’s email address inside Vresk. If you need your account moved to a new address, contact support — Getting help explains how to reach a human.

The account page names your plan: Free, Plus, or a guest pass with the day it ends, which turns into a reminder in its final seven days.

It is also where you sign out, which signs you out on every device, and where the rest of your account is linked. Settings holds your standing instructions and light or dark (or matching your device). Your data — the memory switch, taking a copy or deleting it — is covered in Your data, and today’s allowances and what you’ve used are covered in Limits. What Plus costs has its own page: Plus and billing.

At the bottom, Help and legal links these docs, getting help, and the terms of service and privacy policy.
