Decks and documents
Ask for a presentation and you get a designed one — on the larger models the model lays out each slide itself, and on the free models Vresk's slide layouts do the design.
The result opens in the panel beside your chat, one slide at a time, and leaves as a PowerPoint file.
How a deck gets made
Ask for a presentation
In plain words — “a five-slide deck on X for Y”, “put together a presentation introducing Z”. On the larger models there is nothing to switch on first: the ask is the whole instruction. On the free models, add Design under the + button — or tap the deck chip — before you ask; a deck asked for in words alone is answered in the thread like any other message. On the other models the model designs the deck itself either way. Saying who it is for and roughly how long it should be does more for the result than any other instruction. Then it is designed
The model decides the structure and what goes on each slide. Two decks on the same subject from the same ask will not look the same. On the free models, with Design on, you see the plan before anything is built. On the free models (Llama 4 Scout, Gemma 3 27B, Mistral Small 3, Qwen 3.5 35B and GPT-OSS 120B) the model writes the words and Vresk's slide layouts do the design, text only for now; the other models design each slide themselves. It renders in the panel
Slide by slide, at presentation proportions, with navigation. What you see is what exports. You revise it in the chat
“Cut slide four”, “make the opening less corporate”, “add a slide on pricing after the problem”. Each revision is a version you can step back through.
Getting a good one
The single biggest lever is telling the model who is in the room. A deck for an investor, a deck for your team, and a deck for a conference are three different documents even when the facts are identical.
- Name the audience and what you want them to do afterwards.
- Give a length — “about ten slides” beats leaving it open.
- Bring your own facts. Paste the numbers, the quotes, the findings. A deck built on what you supplied is a deck you can defend.
- Say what it should not be. “No bullet-point walls” is a real instruction and it works.
Two settings follow you into every deck. A saved brand kit puts your colors, fonts and logo — read from a logo, example slides, or a PowerPoint you upload — on every deck you make; set one up in personalization. A design pack is a style you choose for the model to build to, and None is the default — chosen on the same page.

From research to a deck
A finished deep research report carries a Design this button. It lays the report out as a designed document — a cover, headings, your brand — and the words do not change: it is a layout pass, not a rewrite, so the report you checked is the report you present.
Illustrations are off unless you switch them on — many reports read better plain — and the option states what pictures cost, in plain words, before you decide.
Getting it out
A deck downloads as a real PowerPoint file — actual slides with actual text boxes, not images of slides. Open it in PowerPoint or Keynote and keep editing.
A written document rather than a deck downloads from the same panel, as a PDF or as Markdown; a designed report downloads as Word. More on export.
