Personalization

Vresk adapts to you in ways you choose deliberately: standing instructions it follows on every answer, a brand kit your decks are built to, an optional design style, and a few small switches. All of it is in the settings dialog, opened from the chat header (on a phone, from the account menu at the bottom of the chat list). Standing instructions are also on the Settings page of your account, beside light and dark.

This page is about what you tell Vresk. What it learns about you on its own is a separate thing with its own controls — memory.

Custom instructions

Custom instructions are anything you want kept in mind every time — how to write, what you already know, what to skip. Up to 4,000 characters, with a live counter under the box. Saving an empty box clears them.

They travel with your message, not with any one model. Whichever engine answers follows them — including replies that search the web, run deep research, compare engines side by side, or build a deck. Switching engines never means re-explaining yourself.

Images are the exception

Making an image is the one thing that does not use your standing instructions. If the picture should follow a preference, say so in the ask itself.

Your brand kit

A brand kit makes what Vresk designs for you look like it came from you. The promise, word for word, is your look (colors, fonts, logo, image mood) on our layouts — we do not rebuild your slide template. We take the parts of your brand that travel well and apply them to layouts we can stand behind.

  1. Hand it something that shows your brand

A logo image, one to three screenshots of slides you like, or a PowerPoint file. The PowerPoint path reads the theme stored inside the file exactly; the others work from the pixels.
  2. Check what it found

Every path ends on a confirmation screen — there is no way to skip it. It shows the colours, fonts and logo it found, and it says how each one was found: read from your file, measured from the image, or judged by a model. Every field is editable before you confirm, including the accent colour and the picture style.
  3. Confirm it — or remove it later

Nothing is saved until you confirm. Once you do, every deck you make uses the kit, until you remove it — which one button does.

Your exact fonts may not be available

When your brand uses fonts Vresk cannot embed, the confirmation screen says so and proposes the closest of the fonts it ships. You can change the match before confirming.

Decks are where the kit does its work — more on decks.

Design packs

A design pack is a short style guide you switch on for your account. With one active, the things Vresk builds — slides, pages, widgets, documents — are built to that look. One pack can be active at a time, or none. None is the default: there is no house style, and with no pack chosen each thing is designed on its own.

A pack is your grant to the model, so you can read it. Each pack's card has a control that shows the exact text the engine receives — the words themselves, not a summary. A pack never outranks your custom instructions.

The style picker only appears in settings when there is at least one pack to choose. No packs, no picker — you will not see a dead control.

If your style leaves the catalog

Packs can be retired. When the one you chose is gone, nothing is applied — and the picker says exactly that, rather than showing None as if you had never chosen. Pick another, or choose None.

The small settings

Open finished creations automatically — when an answer builds something you can see or play with, the canvas opens it as soon as it is ready. It is a per-device switch: turning it off on your laptop leaves your phone unchanged. When the canvas opens — and when it deliberately holds back — is covered on the artifacts page.

Light and dark — Vresk follows your device's setting until you choose one yourself. The toggle lives in the chat sidebar (on a phone, in its account menu) and in the site header, and the theme follows you everywhere in the product, including the colour of the browser frame around the page. Settings in your account can set it back to match your device.
